It rained and poured all day.
We borrowed some brollies from the hotel, went into town and had breakfast in a bakery.
Allegedly we were then the first visitors at the garden show (Landesgartenschau), which we walked through from North to South.
Right from the beginning our bike ride was quite hilly, at the end of the day we had climbed 580m, and all in rain. We started following the Bodensee – Königsee – Radweg.
We stopped for food at the only place we saw during cycling, there were two wedding parties in local dress at the same time. This was followed by the longest and steepest climb of the day, we cycled up inclines of up to 10%.
Oberstaufen itself is a pretty Bavarian place. We saw the wet remnants of a market, did some shopping and retired to our very comfy room to dry our clothes and shoes.
