Ottobrunn – Munich, Lüneburg – Betzendorf, 31km (13.5.26)

Cycling to the main station in Munich is in principle very easy, if it were not for the traffic. Got there in time to do a work call before boarding the train.

They had halved the carriages available, so we were all quite cramped, but at least I had a seat, and my bike was ok. Arrived in Hamburg-Harburg nearly on time. Quite a beautiful station.

The local train to Lüneburg was significantly delayed and overcrowded, I could not even get into the bike carriage.

Cycling out of Lüneburg was quite stressful round the station,  but it soon got really quiet. The official bike path to Betzendorf is too sandy to ride even with my fat tires, so I had to push a bit.

Arrived at Elsa’s and was fed well, only to be told the sheep had escaped, so we would have to deal with that early next morning.
