Ottobrunn- Munich, Stuttgart- Plieningen, 60km ( 19.9.25)

Got up really early to catch a train to Stuttgart,  just to find out the train was cancelled. Had to wait over an hour for the next one. Luckily there was a space for my bike on that train.

Met up with Phil in Stuttgart in time for lunch in beautiful weather, with a view of the castle.

Stuttgart seems to be doing a lot for cyclists, so the way to Böblingen was great, despite the constant climb.

Our reason to go to Böblingen was the museum dedicated to the peasant war (Bauernkrieg) 500 years ago. That museum is definitely worth a visit! We spent two hours there and still had not  seen everything in the detail I would have wanted.

We then cycled across to Plieningen,  quite a nice route,  partially along a ridge, and past the airport. We were there led by the number of people sitting outside a pizzeria and enjoyed excellent food.

Our bikes are enjoying luxurious accommodation as well.

We climbednearly 600m on 45km, not bad for a first day .
