Took the S-Bahn to Kreuzstraße and then the train to Rosenheim. Worked well, it even stopped raining just as we arrived in Rosenheim.
We followed the Inn South to Niederndorf in Austria. Unfortunately on the way my derailleur developed problems, so I was restricted to three real gears and the two lowest (luckily).
From the Inn we had to climb quite a bit, I managed to shock Phil with the following sign, but that is not the way we took. In the end we climbed just less than 600m, not too bad with poorly working gears.
We went past Walchsee to Kössen, both of which brought up winter memories from my childhood.
There was quite a climb to Reit im Winkl again, quite a nice little place, very touristy.
We still have not worked out the connection to Mozart…
