Nymburk/Nimburg – Tremosnice/Tremoschnitz , 79km (13.9.22)

Today was my day of historical towns, including a UNESCO world heritage site. Bit of culture for a change, and the weather was still good (it is forecast to rain the next few days).

I also left the Elba/Labe today, and leaving a river always means climbing. I also seem to be in an undulating region, so I did more than 800m in altitude again. I seem to be getting more relaxed about it in general, it is as it is after all. So I am now following the Eurovelo 4 route, which could take me all the way to Krakow.

Castle in Podebrady:

Market square in Kolin:

UNESCO world heritage site of Kutna Hora/Kuttenberg:

Tschaslau:

In a really nice hotel for the night, but the receptionist spoke neither English nor German… we got there in the end. Even went for a nice swim in their pool.
