Took the train to Schiphol and then cycled to my brother‘s, somehow I almost always have a bike with me when I visit.
In principle everything went well with the trains, two changes and enough time to allow for the delays. The lifts in Düsseldorf were too small for bikes, however, so we had to carry everything up and down the stairs.
Thanks to advice from my brother, we managed to see and smell the first hyacinth fields on the way, with sunset.
